The mission of this club is to provide a fun competitive lacrosse program that provides a quality playing experience and the opportunity to play at the collegiate level.
Bellaire Women's Lacrosse is a non-UIL sport that provides a fun and competitive lacrosse playing atmosphere for high school girls in 9th-12th grade. We are a Division II team playing in the Texas Girls High School Lacrosse League (TGHSLL), South District. The team is open to Bellaire High School students, or players zoned to Bellaire whose school does not offer playing opportunities. Physical education credit is available to those players who meet specific HISD participation requirements.
The team consists of a varsity team and a JV team.
Our fall season runs August through December with training two evenings per week, and all players participate in playdays and tournaments on a varsity or junior varsity team. Coaches will often move players between squads during the fall to assess playing skills and identify the best balance for each roster. The spring rosters are usually set by early November in order to prepare for the spring season.
The spring season runs from February through April, playing 10 - 12 games.
Practices are typically held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at St. Philip's United Methodist Church.
